Powder Coating is a process of whereby dry formulated powder is applied by an electrostatic spray gun to an earthed metal article and when run through a heated oven, gives a hard durable coating. Lab tests are conducted daily on all pre-treatment chemicals and mechanical testing are done on powder coated items. Further to our in–house laboratory testing, independent tests on powder coated extrusions are done by both our powder and chemicals suppliers. After testing for corrosion and neutral salt spray, these suppliers issue us a Certificate of Analysis so as to ensure conformity. In–house salt testing equipment is available at our premises.
